Wild Zero ROCK 'N' ROLL! (Z07.24)

Thousands of alien spacecrafts have entered Earth's atmosphere and for some reason this occurance has turned numerous people into zombies (in Japan anyway).

Why? How? Who cares!?! It doesn't matter.

All you need to know to appreciate this Rock 'n' Roll/Zombie movie are the following points:

- Love has no borders, nationalities, or genders;

- There are no boundaries in Rock 'n' Roll; and

- Guitar Wolf is quite possibly the coolest punk band in the world (and purportedly the loudest in Japan) and their lead singer/guitarist (who shares the same moniker as his band) can save the world with a Gibson SG!

I'm really tempted to blab a whole lot more about Wild Zero but will refrain; the wonderful thing about watching this film for the first time is experiencing its sheer enthusiastic mania in all its unexpected glory! However, I will provide this trailer that I found on YouTube:

Wild Zero is best viewed on the big screen in a theatre full of rowdy beer drinkers. However, the DVD is well worth adding to your collection, especially with its drinking game function, in which a drinking symbol appears each time a character drinks, says "ROCK 'N' ROLL," combs his hair or whenever a head explodes or flames appears.

ROCK 'N' ROLL!!!
