Shaun of the Dead (Z07.07)

This mix between romantic comedy and horror/zombie movie also happens to be one of the greatest buddy flicks in recent history too.

Set in suburban North London, Shaun of the Dead follows Shaun and his best mate Ed as they attempt to withstand a never ending onslaught of zombies, all while Shaun tries to win back his girlfriend.

So, when attempting to withstand a never ending onslaught of zombies, where's the safest place to dig in? The pub, of course! Weapon of choice? A cricket bat. And without giving away too much more, let me just say that Shaun of the Dead is a hilarious look at daily life in London. The foreshadowing and story set-up are spot on!
